Well in this case, that's exactly what happened, a Complete Body-Off Restoration of a 40,408 actual mile original 1940 Ford Coupe sporting absolutely ZERO RUST! Known history includes pre-restoration storage from 1955 until 1978, 67 Years Young and 23 years of blissful protected storage! What do we have now? With just one touch of a button it's running as you step back into timeless Hot Rod style!

A stunning body & chassis complete with a thorough frame off restoration down to every little detail! The entire chassis was stripped, powder coated and all components were either rebuilt or replaced with new! The body itself required NO rust repair and more importantly required NO metalwork! Yep, simple, 100% Henry Steel finished in a period correct deep maroon PPG single stage urethane enamel that's been polished to perfection!! Every stitch of the factory trim/chrome is spectacular and all is glass has been replaced with tinted safety glass. What now? The power-train itself sports equal attention to detail along with several really nifty and desirable features. Starting with an Art Chrisman built 1948 59L (factory relieved) Flathead V-8 fitted with Isky Max I Camshaft, Johnson Tappets, Stock Crank, polished Harrel Aluminum Cylinder Heads, polished Harrel Intake Manifold with Dual Deuces, Fenton Headers, Walker Dual Exhaust and of course Smitty's Mufflers! Wow, Done? No! This nostalgic power flows into a Art Chrisman rebuilt 3 speed trans straight into a Columbia 2 Speed Rear Differential!     

Now hop inside to a stunning factory interior fitted with custom maroon LEATHER trim seating and door panels! Other features include custom (Enos) wiring and 12 Volt Wiring System. What else can I say except everything works PERFECTLY... including the factory radio...
