1959 Studebaker Silver Hawk: With only 5,371 of these winged wonders built, you would bet not many as honest as this one still exist! A good solid body with no excuses wrapped in a good color combination! Up until recently she was Lady driven in Seattle and maintained by the husband who sadly developed Cancer. The family decided Mom needed a more practical commuter! I am not sure they were right? Shortly there after Mom's car was sold and comes to you ready to go! You will enjoy driving this one! Built in South Bend, Indiana USA! 1959 Studebaker's came with three available engines and this one hits right in the middle with a "V" code 259 V-8 with a 3 9/16 bore and 8.8 compression ratio. It whips out a respectable 180 Horsepower at 4500 rpm. Her fuel is sipped by a Stromberg model WW Two Barrel Carb. Transferring the smooth factory power is a optional Flight-O-Matic Automatic Tranz! You can drive this very respectable Studebaker anywhere! You will like its ride and handling! Drive this one Daily and You will get noticed with plenty of smiles, thumbs up and statements like "Nice Car, What is it?" It's my Silver Lady Hawk!

Known Items: A good solid/straight body with solid floor pans and no signs of any panel replacement or excess body repairs. The paint is older, professional in nature and above average driver quality with age unknown (10+yrs?)! A few common age bubbles do exist, they are hardly noticeable but there and are pictured on the sub-page! Unlike many of her vintage, she is Not a rust bucket, never was nor will she ever be! The chrome and stainless is exceptional! Her interior is like walking in a time warp with sparse but needed features! Great period feel in wonderfully preserved condition. I have no idea whether the colors are stock but she shows no signs of any others. Recently Serviced, Safety Checked and Ready to continue her duties! Not New and Not Perfect!
